Calls for A National Policy On Criminal Intelligence

The
Nigeria Police has called for the evolvement of a
National Policy on Criminal Intelligence.
Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of
zone 9, covering the South East and South South
geo-political zones, Mr Olusegun Efuntayo said at a
Security Summit in Enugu that the country needed to
adopt this approach in tackling insecurity.
Also speaking, the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi state,
Professor Chugozie Ogbu said the summit had provided
a veritable platform to tackle the problems of
security.
Mr Efuntayo called for cooperation between security
agencies in the country to address the problem.
