$427 Million Aid
Released To Mozambique
Donors
will begin to release aid to Mozambique after reaching an
agreement with the government on reforms to fight corruption and
improve governance.
The Head of Planning and Development, Aiuba Cuereneia, said the
group of nineteen development partners, which provide support
directly to the state, will release a total of four hundred and
twenty seven million dollars this year.
Cuereneia said the amount was about eleven point nine percent of
Mozambique's budget.
