Nigeria, Britain Sign MOU On Drug Trafficking
Nigeria
and Britain have signed a Memorandum of
Understanding to tackle drug trafficking.
While signing the agreements, Nigeria’s Minister of
Justice and Attorney General, Chief Michael
Aondoakaa expressed the present government’s
commitment to arrest drug traffickers.
In the same vein, Acting British High Commissioner
to Nigeria, Mr. Peter West said the agreements would
further strengthen relations between the two
countries and assist to check drug trafficking among
West African states.
Recently, Nigeria and Britain signed agreements on
swapping of prisoners.
