Mandela
Writings For Sale In Frankfurt
The
unseen writings of the former South African President, Nelson
Mandela are to be on sale at the Frankfurt Book Fair this week.
According
to the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the writings are candid and
showed Mandela chiding himself over a "grave error of
judgment" when he proposed lowering the voting age to
fourteen.
The Nelson
Mandela Foundation is selling the rights to the hundred
thousand-word archive of notes, diaries and letters.
The
Foundation’s spokesman, Verne Harris said the compilation,
called “Conversations With Myself” also showed Mr.
Mandela not as a saint or an icon, but as a person.
