Liberia Thanks Nigeria
For Debt Write Off

The
Liberian government has expressed gratitude to
Nigeria over the cancellation of her debts.
Liberia’s President Pro-Tempore, Cletus Wotorson
presented the country’s gesture when he paid a visit
to the Nigerian Deputy Senate President, Ike
Ekweremadu, at the National Assembly in Abuja.
Senator Wotorson said he was in Nigeria at the start
of a West African tour to show Liberia’s
appreciation for the tremendous support from ECOWAS
countries during the period of tribulations.
Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President gave assurances to
the Liberian that the legislative arm of government
in Nigeria would respond positively to any request
by the government and people of Liberia.
