Ghana Projects Drop In Inflation
Ghana
has projected that its annual inflation will drop to between
9.2 and 9.4 per cent by the end of this year.
Bank of Ghana Governor, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur said on Wednesday,
that indices were pointing towards a fall in inflation figures.
According to him: ’’On the basis of the trend that we've
seen, inflation will end the year at about 9.2 to 9.4 per
cent.’’
He was speaking at a meeting with business leaders in Accra, the
capital.
Annualised inflation in February fell for the eighth consecutive
month to hit 14.23 per cent, its lowest level in nearly
two years.
