Ghana, Egypt Set For
Finals

Ghana
and Egypt are to play in the finals of the on-going 2010 African
Nations Cup in Angola.
It will be Ghana's first Nations Cup final experience since
1992.
Its team defeated traditional rivals, Nigeria 1-0 in a hard
fought semi-final on Thursday in Luanda.
Asamoah Gyan was once again on hand to score for the depleted
Black Stars when he headed the ball into the net from Kwado
Asamoah's 21st minute corner.
Egypt on the other hand overcame rivals Algeria by four goals to
nil in the second semi-finals match played in Benguela.
The Algerians could not withstand the fire power of the
determined Egyptians after they were reduced to eight men.
It will be Egypt's third straight finals and would be aiming to
win the cup for keeps when they play against Ghana in the finals
on Sunday.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria faces the Fennecs of Algeria in the
third place match scheduled for Saturday, in Benguela.
Nigeria's loss to Ghana has however been attributed to lack of
technical know-how of the coach.
Eddie Lewis, a coach with Moroka Swallows, a South Africa
Premier Soccer League side faulted coach Amodu's second half
substitute in which Yakubu Aiyegbeni was brought in to replace
