18 Fresh Names On Ministerial List



Acting President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, has sent a list of twenty-five nominees, to the Senate for confirmation as ministers.

The list, which was submitted by the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Mohammed Abba-Aji, contains eighteen new names and seven former ministers.

The List

Among the nominees is Fidelia Njeze, Enugu State, Godsday Orubebe, Delta State, Architect Nuhu Soho Way, Kogi State, Adetokunbo Kayode, Ondo State, Henry Odein Ajumogobia, SAN, Rivers State, Senator Akinlabi Olasunkanmi, Osun State, Mrs. Dezeani Allison Madukwe, Bayelsa State Dr. Shamsudeen Usman, Kano State Professor Dora Akunyili, Anambra State, Chukwuemeka Ngozi Wogu, Abia State, Josephine Anenih, Anambra State, Labaran Maku, Nassarawa State.



Others are Engineer Chris Ogwiewenyi, Edo State, Alhaji Suleiman Bello, Zamfara State, Alhaji Murtala Yar’Adua, Katsina State, Senator Sanusi Daggash, Borno State, Senator Bala Mohammed Sokoto State, Honourable Nduese Essien, Akwa Ibom State,
Mrs. Josephine Tapgun, Plateau State, Mohammed Bello Adoke, Kogi State.



The list also includes Navy Captain Ernest Olubolade, Ekiti State, Olusegun Olutoyin Aganga, Lagos State, Professor M.K Abubakar, Kebbi State, Alhaji Adamu Waziri, Yobe State, Alhaji Umar Aliyu, Taraba State Awodele Najim Adewole Alao, Ogun State.


Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Mohammed, Gombe State, Yusuf Suleiman, Sokoto State, Professor Rubia Rufai, Jigawa State, Architect Musa Sad’aa, Katsina State, Professor Abdullah, Niger State, Captain Emmanuel Iheneacho, Imo State, Senator Jubril Martins Kuye, Ogun State also made the list.


The Dissolution


The Acting President, Goodluck Jonathan, dissolved the forty-two-member Federal Executive Council on March seventeen.
