Anambra Partners Israel On Resuscitating Farm
Settlements
The
Anambra State government is to partner with Israeli
agriculture experts to resuscitate abandoned farm
settlements and livestock companies in the state.
Governor Peter Obi made this known while receiving a
report of Agricultural Survey, conducted by an
Israeli company across the state.
Obi said his administration was putting necessary
measures in place to ensure effective and efficient
harnessing of abundant agricultural potentials in
the state.
The governor said that the state was blessed with
enough agricultural resources to achieve food
sufficiency for the country and some parts of West
Africa.
He explained that his administration was determined
to provide the enabling environment and
infrastructure as well as to empower farmers
towards greater productivity.
The leader of the team, Mr Roa Levi, said the team
was made up of experts in all fields of agriculture,
who are using Israeli technology to boost
productivity in the sector.
