Commission Sets Up
Committee To Probe Forgery
The
Nigeria Sport Commission has set up a six man committee to
investigate allegation of forgery leveled against its chairman,
Sani Ndanusa.
Ndanusa, who is also the country's sports minister, was alleged
to have forged documents to give credence to his election into
the board of the confederation of African Tennis, CAT.
The committee, which is headed by a retired Brigadier General,
Emma Okaro also has representatives from the Nigeria Police and
Attorney General of the Federation’s office.
The committee is expected to submit its report on or before the
18th of this month.
While inaugurating the committee on Tuesday in Abuja, Director
General of the sports commission, Patrick Ekeji named the terms
of reference to include the establishment of the veracity of the
allegation.
