South Korean Firm To
Build Homes In Ghana
A
South Korean construction firm has closed a deal to build
200,000 homes in Ghana over the next six years.
Official reports from Seoul say the project is a joint venture
with the Ghanaian government.
Ghana will share the total cost estimated at 10 billion US
dollars.
Seoul officials explained that 90,000 of the homes will be owned
by the state while the rest will be sold.
They will be built in 10 different cities across the country,
including the capital, Accra.

South Korea has also expressed intentions of investing in
infrastructure projects in Africa. It has also signed various
deals recently to access farmlands to secure food supplies
across the African continent.
