Media Managers, Editors and other Media Practitioners all over
Nigeria , have converged on the Administrative Staff College of
Nigeria, ASCON, Topo, Badagry for a one day workshop.
The workshop will draw participants from the thirty six states
councils and the Federal Capital Territory of the Union as well
as teachers of Journalism and student- journalists from the
Ivory Towers.
No fewer than one hundred and fifty participants are expected
including resource persons, most of whom are drawn from the
ranks of Journalism teachers, Editors, managers of journalists
and veterans who have seen it all.
Participants and resource persons are to arrive ASCON in
Badagray, Lagos, South Western Nigeria, the venue of the seminar
today Tuesday April, twenty nine, 2008 and depart on Thursday,
May first, 2008.
The Administrative Staff College of Nigeria, ASCON, was
established in 1972, to train top Civil Servants in Nigeria and
Manager for the private sector of the economy.
Mr M.K.G Ashiru is the acting Director General of the College.
He took over from Professor Shiekh Abdulla who recently retired
after the expiration of his tenure
