Super Eagles of Nigeria prepare for 2014 World Cup

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will resume camping for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Kenya, in the first week of March.
The match which will take place at the U. J. Esuene Stadium , Calabar, is slated for Saturday, March 23, 2013 .
Speaking in Abuja, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) General Secretary, Musa Amadu said the home based players would hit camp two weeks before the arrival of the overseas-based professionals.
"Now that we are the champions of Africa, we know that every team will prepare very well whenever they are to play Nigeria. We do not want to leave ourselves open to any sucker punch. Getting to the top and staying there requires a lot of hard work,” Amadu said.
The Eagles' Head Coach, Stephen Keshi is expected to release the list of the invited players for the match after a meeting with the NFF Technical Committee.
Nigeria currently tops Group F of the African series for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, on four points from a 1-nil victory over Namibia and a 1-1 draw against Malawi in Blantyre in June 2012.
