Nigeria Premier League draws to a close

The Nigeria Premier League has announced that all Week 38 league matches will be played on Friday, September 7th, to bring the current season to a close.
                     
Head of Competitions Unit, Auwalu Jada, who confirmed this also, said that all the outstanding games of the season have been scheduled to hold on Thursday, August 23rd.

The matches are:

• Warri Wolves v Rising Stars
• ABS v Sunshine Stars and
• Sharks v Ocean Boys.

The league management explained that the decision to end the current season on the said date was to enable Supersport Television feature live broadcast of the star match and presentation of trophy to the league champion on Friday, September 7th.

Supersport Television dedicates Saturdays to the European League.
