Nigeria National League to unveil new logo and website

The Nigeria National League (NNL) will unveil its new logo and website at the pre season seminar which begins on Thursday January 26 in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.

Board members and representatives of all the 36 clubs in the National league are expected to arrive on Thursday, while full activities will commence on Friday, with the morning workshop, while the Supervising Minister for sports and chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC) in Nigeria, Bolaji Abdulahi is expected to lead a team of sports administrators to the pre season seminar and workshop.

Also expected at the two-day event are the NSC Director General, Patrick Ekeji, President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Maigari, as well as the chairmen of both the senate and House of Representatives committee on sports.

The Chairman of the board, Emeka Inyama said that the supervising minister of sports would be expected to deliver the opening speech at the occasion, which would be followed with four seminar papers to be presented by respected football experts and administrators in Nigeria.

He said: “The seminar papers, which we have carefully selected, will enrich the participating club officials in new skills in club management, marketing as well as relationship with their players. Also, the animation of the new NNL logo and website will be carried out to the admiration of the officials as part of our efforts to introduce a new look, fashioned along the existing features in Europe and other fast growing football leagues in the world to the national league.”

The NNL chairman noted that the event would climax with the conduct of the 2011/2012 National league season draws which would come up by 18:00 GMT on Friday.
