Reactions
Lead counsel to Oshiomole, said the
judgement “was scholarly and profound. It has move Nigeria’s democracy
forward and prevented the country from witnessing the ugly experience
such as the post election Kenyan, where there was breakdown of law and
order because the people who where suppose to do what is right refused
to do so.”
Alex Izinyon, Senior Advocate of
Nigeria, SAN, lead counsel for Osunbor gave an indication that they
would appeal the judgment.
In his words, ``we have serious grievances against the judgment. That is
speaking legally. This is not the end of the matter.''
