Nigerian President On Official Visit To Turkey

Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is on a three-day official visit to Turkey .

President Jonathan arrived in Ankara , the capital on Tuesday with a 14-man team of government officials and operators in the private sector.

He will be holding meetings with his Turkish counterpart, Abdullah Gul, on ways of strengthening existing bilateral ties and exploring new ones.

The two leaders are focusing on a number of bilateral agreements in various sectors, for the benefit of both countries.

Officials of the Nigerian embassy in Ankara say plans have been finalised to host President Jonathan who will meet and interact with some members of the Nigerian community in Turkey .
