Nigerians urged to embrace dialogue

The wife of the Nigerian president, Mrs Patience Jonathan, has appealed to aggrieved Nigerians to embrace dialogue rather than violence.

She made the appeal during a condolence visit to the wife of the Inspector General of Police, Mrs Jemila Hafiz Rigim.

Mrs Jonathan noted that violence has never been known to develop any nation and advised people to desist from such acts.

She condoled with the Nigerian Police Force and the families of those who lost their lives during the bomb blast at the Force Headquarters, in Abuja.

The president’s wife also promised to assist the families of the victims.

The Inspector General’s wife thanked Mrs Jonathan for the kind gesture and praised God for sparing her husband's life during n   the blast.

She also prayed for the repose of the souls of the victims.
