Nigeria set to commercialise aviation industry

The Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Mrs Stella Oduah, has reiterated the commitment of government to commercialise all agencies in the aviation industry as part of its transformation agenda.

Oduah said in a statement that the commercialisation of agencies in the aviation industry would be given top priority under the current efforts towards transforming all sectors of the nation’s economy.

The minister called on stakeholders in the industry to bring suggestions on the best way to run government organisations with the option of commercialisation.

Oduah had said at the closing ceremony of Nigeria Airspace Management Agency’s corporate realignment retreat in Abuja, that efficiency and effectiveness were the key performance indicators for the growth of an organisation.
