National Assembly members training to begin on May 15

The legislative training for the elected members of the Nigerian National Assembly has been scheduled to begin on May 15, 2011 and end on May 20, 2011 in various zones of the nation.
The new lawmakers are being trained by the National Assembly to enable them acquaint themselves with legislative processes and procedures before their inauguration into the National Assembly.
A breakdown of the scheduled obtained by reporters indicates that federal legislators-elect from Adamawa, Bauchi, Kogi, Kwara and Niger states will be trained in Akure, Ondo State.
Training schedule
Elects from the FCT, Gombe, Kebbi, Kano, Taraba, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara will proceed to the Nike Resort in Enugu.
Those from Benue, Jigawa, Kaduna, Katsina, Nasarawa and Sokoto will have theirs at The Grand Hotel, Asaba, Delta state.
Elects from Delta, Enugu, Osun, Ondo and Rivers States are slated to be trained at Muna Hotel Yola, Adamawa State.
Legislators-elect from Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti and Ogun have Benue Hotels, Makurdi as their centre, while those elected in Anambra, Cross, Lagos, Oyo and Imo are headed for Tahir Hotel, Kano.
