Elected lawmaker promises to focus on employment scheme

One of the newly elected female federal legislators in Nigeria, Mrs. Rafeat Onabamoiro, has promised to focus on employment scheme for young graduates.

Addressing journalists after her election on the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), to represent the Badagry Federal Constituency, Mrs. Onabamiro said that the high rate of graduate unemployment in Nigeria was alarming.

She said that she would be ready to sponsor private bills on employment generation in the tourism sector, as well as ensure that Badagry tourism potentials were gainfully exploited through the provision of basic infrastructure.

The ACN federal legislator equally stated that she would pursue the listing of 37 development areas for Lagos State in the constitution.
