The Nigerian House of Representative's Justice Committee has called on security agencies to find out as soon as possible the killers of the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Mr Chinweke Asadu, assassinated recently in Enugu.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the Committee, Doctor Alli Ahmad on Monday in Abuja, Nigeria's capital.
According to him, members of the House of Representatives have expressed disbelief and shock to learn that one of the most productive and humble Commissioners of Police in the State was gone.
Doctor Ahmad lamented that Asadu's murderers denied him of his retirement right.
He said that security agencies in Nigeria owed the deceased family the duty of exposing and bringing to book all those behind this dastardly act.
He prayed for the repose of his soul and the family, the fortitude to bear.
