He added that the government was evolving creative and strategic ways of tackling the challenges confronting the nation.
He particularly enjoined the participants of Course 33 to, upon their return to their various offices, come up with new policies that would help the government in tackling terrorism, corruption, unemployment and infrastructure issues.
NIPSS
NIPSS was founded in 1979 as a policy formation centre for bureaucrats, private sector leaders, army officers, and medium ranking and senior civil servants in Nigeria.
Anyim said with the level of training received by the participants from NIPSS, they would be better equipped to think creatively and engender the desired change in the country.
He however, described the institute as the best management training institute in Africa
Earlier, the Acting Director-General of the institute, Professor Tijani Mohammad-Bande, said that funding had remained the major challenge of the institute and appealed to the Nigerian government for improved financial allocation to the institute in order to effectively deliver on its mandate of training high-level manpower.
