Government to build three new refineries

Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan, has said his administration would build three new refineries with the aim of stopping fuel importation.

The president stated this while addressing Nigerian workers on the occasion of the 2011 Workers’ Day.

He noted that the refineries would create jobs for the teaming Nigerian youths, thereby reducing unemployment.

Mr. Jonathan also thanked the workers for their corporation during the elections.

He stated that his administration would continue to work towards the improvement of the workers working condition in Nigeria.
