Nigeria And Turkey Sign Bilateral Agreements Uche Aneke, Ankara
Nigeria and Turkey have signed five bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening relations.
The deals cover Investment Promotion and Protection, Tourism Development, Cooperation in Higher Education, Military Cooperation and Protocol Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries.
After the signing ceremony in Ankara, the Turkish capital a joint press conference was held by President Abdullah Gul of Turkey and President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Nigerian President said that his government would continue to implement measures and policies that would create conducive conditions for the private sector and foreign investors to contribute much more significantly to the development of the Nigerian economy.
