Ministerial Nominees Undergo Screening

Nigeria’s upper legislative house, the Senate has screened the remaining five ministerial candidates presented to the assembly recently by the office of the president.

Senate President, David Mark, said the nominees were from Delta, Imo, Lagos, Taraba and Kaduna states.

The Senate President also informed the House that President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua would present the 2008 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly on Thursday.
