Number One Man Is Governor Of The Year

Martin Elechi of Ebonyi state, south eastern Nigeria has been
named the Best Governor of the Year in the South-East
geo-political zone, by the House of Representatives’ Committee
on States and Local Governments.
The House, in conjunction with Global Focus Institute and Ground
Breakers International Publications Group, organised the Nigeria
Outstanding Governors Award (NOGA) 2009 award chose Governor
Elechi as the best among the thirty-six state governors.
The Personal Assistant to the governor on Media Relations, Abia
Onyeike said the award was based on the governor’s enduring
landmark development strides.
