NIGERIANS IN THE DIASPORA URGED
TO HELP IN AGRICULTURE.
The
Nigerian Minister of Information and Communications Mr. John
Odeh has asked Nigerians in the Diaspora to utilize the
opportunity provided by rich agricultural lands that abound in
the country to invest in the sector.
Receiving some African investors
from Maryland, USA in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, the Minister
promised that the Federal Government would provide the necessary
support to the group, especially in the areas of creative
industry.
Earlier, the leader of the group
of investors, Mr.Wale Akinboboye stressed the need for Africans
to support themselves in order to benefit from each other’s
wealth of experience.
Members of the group who are vast
in entertainment came with a member of the Famous “Jackson Five”
who traced their origin to Nigeria.
