considering new IMF Programme-

Nigeria
says it is considering a new Programme with the
International
Monetary Fund, IMF, as the current one expires on Monday, 15th
October.
Finance minister, Dr. Shamsuddeen Usman said in London, that the
country was exploring the possibility of taking on new
programmes as the fourth and final review of IMF's two-year
Policy Support Instrument expires.
"We are thinking of a successor Programme," he said, at a
lecture at the London School of Economics.
