Nigeria considering new IMF Programme-
Finance Minister


Nigeria says it is considering a new Programme with the International
Monetary Fund, IMF, as the current one expires on Monday, 15^th October.

Finance minister, Dr. Shamsuddeen Usman said in London, that the country was exploring the possibility of taking on new programmes as the fourth and final review of IMF's two-year Policy Support Instrument expires.

"We are thinking of a successor Programme," he said, at a lecture at the London School of Economics.
