Bank Of Industry Woos Entrepreneurs
The
Bank of Industry says it is sensitising industrialists on the expansion of
industries and measures for reviving the ailing ones.
An official of the bank’s zonal office in Lagos, Mr. Amaechi Akwari, said at the
ongoing 2009 Lagos International Trade Fair, that the bank was involved in
procurement of plants and machineries for willing industrialists.
Akwari said that the bank was assisting in the expansion, diversification and
modernisation of existing industries as well as rehabilitation of ailing
companies.
The bank has also opened specialised markets for industrialists, expressing
readiness to assist them.
He said that the bank had been on a ’’massive’’ enlightenment campaign to create
awareness among Nigerian industrialists on its activities.
