Government Committed To Electoral Reforms System

The Nigerian President, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua says he will not hesitate to sign into law, the Electoral Reforms Bill once Nigerians are satisfied.

 President Yar’Adua said this at the 2009 Senate Retreat in Enugu, south eastern Nigeria.

 Represented by Vice President, Goodluck Jonathan, the President said if the country got the issue of elections correct, every other thing would follow.

 

 The Senate President, Mr. David Mark, said the challenge before the lawmakers, as legislators and representatives of the people remained providing the nation with an enduring electoral system.
