ECOWAS Trade Fair Rallying Point For Regional Integration Ben Shemang, Burkinafaso

The President of the ECOWAS Commission Dr Mohammed Ibn Chambas has described the 5th ECOWAS Trade Fair which ended in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, as a rallying point for economic integration in the region.

Speaking to Voice of Nigeria in Burkinafaso, Dr Chamba applauded the participation of various companied from the region as a demonstration of the integration of West African market within a shortest possible time.

He also explained that the outcome of the just conclude trade fair would boost efforts towards a common currency and a common West African Market.

The ECOWAS boss urged manufacturers from the region to ensure that their goods meet international standards and work for the common good of the people of the region.
