The vaccination of children under age one, has been on for four days and is billed to end on Friday.
Children are administered vaccines against killer diseases like polio, measles and tetanus.
The accelerated vaccination exercise for children coincides with the voter registration for a historic referendum to determine the destiny of the region.
Eastern Equatorial deputy speaker, Paul Napwon, acknowledged that the accelerated vaccination programme was as remarkable as the referendum.
Mr. Napwon urged leaders to include dissemination of messages about the accelerated vaccination during their political rallies in the constituencies.
