Nigerian auto products hit Sierra Leonean market

The Government of Sierra Leone has employed the services of a Nigerian company to help run the entire system of Motor Vehicle administration documentation ranging from Drivers Licence, to customs’ documentation of vehicles coming into the country.
According to the Group Managing Director of Courteville Business Solutions, Bola Akindele, the Company is fully operational in Sierra Leone with plans to expand even further across the shores of Africa.
He explained that the Sierra Leonean government had awarded to the company, a ten year contract commencing from last month, to run the entire Motor Vehicle administration documentation.
Akindele attributed the company’s success to the foresight of the management into the services that would be beneficial to the populace in the nearest future.
However, Courteville also acknowledges the support of the Nigerian Federal Road Safety Commission Corp Marshal (who also doubled on the head of the West African Road Safety body) which he said helped in sensitizing the West African Sub region into adopting practices that would lead to proper motor vehicle licensing and tracking.
He explained that with the device it would be termed impossible for a vehicle to be stolen in Nigeria and driven all the way to Ghana.
“Autoreg is a means of halting vehicle theft with Sierra Leone as the starting point,” he remarked.
