| Management development institutes in Africa tasked on human capital development

African management development institutes have been urged to build networking strategies to meet the challenges of human capital development.
The Executive Secretary of the West Africa Management Development Institute, Dr. Tunji Dawodu gave the advice at the International Conference on Human Capital Development held in Lagos State, South West Nigeria.
He said that strategies were important for African management institutes that were facing dwindling resources.
Dr. Dawodu equally stressed the need for strengthening the existing regional networks of management development.
The Director General of Administrative Staff College of Nigeria, Mr. Ajibade Peter promised to take up the challenge.
The three-day conference, which started on Monday had in attendance heads of human development institutes and stakeholders from Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, The Gambia and Sierra Leone.
