India-Africa Media Partnership holds symposium on building Bridges
The India-Africa Media Partnership will hold a symposium on building Bridges in Ethiopia , on enhancing media engagement and synergies in order to build an Africa India multi-dimensional media partnership.
The symposium will hold within the framework of the Second Africa-India Forum Summit scheduled for 20 to 25 May 2011 at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa.
The Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Mr. Erastus Mwencha, is expected to address the gathering on Friday.
The Second Africa-Indian Summit Forum falls within the framework of Africa - India partnership. It is a follow-up to the first Africa-India Summit Forum which took place in New Delhi from 4 to 9 April 2008, during which the New Delhi Declaration and Framework for Co-operation were adopted.
